You say: "Our species needs to re-sensitize ourselves to such dynamics in nature, in order to preserve them. We have no sensors nor any innate brain system designed to warn us of the innumerable ways that human activity corrodes our planetary niche." But I wonder...what if we do have sensors, but are in a cultural trance that, for most of us, desensitizes us? What if the experience of despair is a type of sensor? And the preceding paragraph quoting Blake on imagination...what if imagination is a type of sensor? My concern is that relying upon intellect alone may not be enough...The entire body is intelligent, and profoundly connected to the myriad intelligences of the natural world. We must learn to listen from the neck down, as well as between the ears...

Thank you so much for the good work!

This could be part of a larger political project which would incite one to trace the networks of our world and keep them open to scrutiny : http://yannickrumpala.wordpress.com/2009/06/11/the-utility-of-network-analysis-to-regain-political-holds-on-technology/
